David Gordon first strummed a guitar in 1959, and he’s been learning songs ever since. Lots and lots of songs.

After six decades of concerts with his guitar, this event will be a personal retrospective of his favorite songs.

The playlist covers more than a century, and is designed to open hearts, generate laughs and tears, and share the power of music and the joys of living and love.

The eclectic program David created for this concert includes a few vintage folk songs plus a wild array of classic tunes by Iris DeMent, Lennon & McCartney, John McCutcheon, David Wilcox, Jacques Offenbach, Hoagy Carmichael, Yip Harburg, Stephen Foster, Louise Mosrie, Bob Dylan, and other great songwriters.
